A New Approach to a Growing Threat

CADNA is proactive, not reactive. Annual membership fees aid CADNA’s work to prevent laborious and expensive UDRP filings and other costly enforcement down the road.

CADNA members have the opportunity to shape and influence international legislative and ICANN policy agendas and outcomes from the beginning. With active involvement from its members, CADNA is working to educate the public and to lobby government agencies and elected officials.

Through this increased awareness, CADNA aims to:

• Effectively exert pressure on ICANN to balance its approach to the domain name space
• Propose legislation to take decisive action on abuses by domain name registrars and registrants
• Work with a multinational organization to introduce and administer an international anti-cybersquatting treaty
