CADNA’s Online Brand Abuse & Internet Governance Forum

June 2, 2010

We would like to express our appreciation to all who helped make our June 2 event such a success.

Hosted by CADNA member Wells Fargo, this forum provided participants with the opportunity to hear from experts and share information with their peers on the most pressing issues facing the Internet:

  • Legal, marketing, and security executives from Fortune 500 companies discussed recent domain abuse trends and led discussions on how cybersquatting is directly impacting consumers and their businesses
  • Security experts, leading academics, and law enforcement officials discussed the problems that exist in the current domain space and what is being done to remedy the problems
  • Experts on social media and new TLDs explored what brands should expect on the road ahead and how to protect their audience and brands

Registered attendees included Allstate, Apple, eBay, Levi Strauss, Oracle, Rolex, Wal-Mart, among others.
